The Argyle ISD Education Foundation family is comprised of a group of business, community and neighborhood volunteers working together to provide resources to enhance the learning environment in our schools. We generate our financial resources through grants, donations and fundraisers to invest in innovative, creative teacher and student programs not otherwise funded by the district.
We are your neighbors working to make the Argyle school district the best in the state.
The Foundation is an independent 501(c) (3) organization.

Our Mission: In the spirit of Jesus Christ, Christian Community Action ministers to the poor by providing comprehensive services that alleviate suffering, bring hope and change lives.

When a family is hungry, tired and has no place to go, it is hard for them to help themselves. For more than 35 years, Christian Community Action has been feeding, sheltering, educating and training families in need within 42 communities throughout Collin, Dallas, Denton, Tarrant and Wise counties.

In one year, CCA assists more than 12,000 individuals. We distribute more than $1.4 million of food and see more than 4,000 low-income patients in our health center each year. We have more than 1,660 people taking educational and vocational training programs at our facility annually. We provide more than 57,000 lunches to kids during the summer and provide 2,900 children with Christmas toys each holiday season. And, we provide meaningful volunteer opportunities to more than 2,500 people each year.

With the support of volunteers, families, churches and local businesses, we truly are making a difference in our community.

Metroport Meals On Wheels, Inc. is a grassroots volunteer advocate for the elderly and those in need through home-delivered meals, senior center lunch and activity programs and other support services.
We are "neighbors helping neighbors" working to alleviate hunger, isolation, and loneliness in our communities, and to foster the independence, worth, and dignity of each individual we serve.

We provide home-delivered meals to seniors and those who are
unable to cook for themselves and are home-bound.
We do not have any age or income restrictions.
A person regardless of age who may be recovering from an
accident or illness is eligible for our meal program. An inability to pay for the meals is not a barrier either. There is no waiting list or red tape involved in signing up for meals in our service area.
